I’ve been talking to lots of different people about being in their heart centres. Whenever I start guided mediations I ask the participants to think of an intention of what they want to get out of their experience. Then I would ask them to send that intention into their heart centre and feel, see or just know that their heart is now lit up. So I was thinking of simple ways to return to consoling with our heart lately. Last summer I wrote a love letter to myself and so today I was inspired to try it again. Sometimes we forget to focus on love for ourselves and we expect others to fill that space.
So, I encourage you to sit down in a quiet or relaxing music space with an old fashioned pen and paper. Then breathe deeply in and out and focus on your heart.
Then start to write. Notice the kindness and love your heart has for you. If you notice thoughts come up that are not loving, just let them float out of your head and focus on the light inside your heart.
May your heart letter to yourself help you realize how beautifully amazing you are.
For the more you can appreciate your love for you, the more you can realize the loving life you constantly can create for yourself.
